At last! A (possible) Cash Money reunion is among us.

Nearly a decade since Mannie Fresh severed ties with the Cash Money camp, he was recently spotted in the studio with Lil Wayne. The two have not worked together since but it looks like things may change.

According to Vibe, producer/songwriter Charles Pettaway sent out a tweet revealing that the rapper-producer duo may be cooking up something new.

Mannie Fresh was a key element in establishing Lil Wayne's musical career producing on Wayne's albums including Tha Block Is HotLights Out500 Degreez, and Tha Carter

Mannie Fresh also served as one half of the Big Tymers alongside Birdman. The duo had several hits including "Still Fly," "Get  Your Roll On" and "#1 Stunna."

Upon his departure from Cash Money, rumors began to swirl that Drake and Lil Wayne would be working on a Big Tymers album with the help of Birdman and of course, controversy followed.

Many fans felt the project wouldn't be right without Mannie Fresh and he felt their sentiment.

"I don't bash Cash Money, Birdman, or none of them. It's really on, I'm just striving on just getting what I deserve, you know, what I put in," Mannie told MTV last year. "Honestly I think Drake is a great artist, I think Wayne is a great artist, but they not the Big Tymers."

It seems as though Mannie and Wayne have put things behind them and hopefully some good music will come out of the reunion as Lil Wayne is still working on Tha Carter V.
