What's done in the dark will apparently be making its way to the light when The Queens of Comedy star Mo'Nique and her husband Sidney Hicks open up about their open marriage via a brand-new podcast that the actress/comedian announced via Twitter on December 7.

The podcast, which will be called Open Relationship (no points for creativity there, guys), will focus on the couple's nine-year marriage and what makes it work. It's no secret that Hicks has a permanent hall pass, as Mo'Nique has talked about it openly and honestly over the years.

"We have no secrets, we have no sneakiness," she was quoted telling People in 2007. "We never have to worry about, 'You deceived me.'"

She continued, "The main question people have is, 'Can y'all sleep with other people?' Do we set out to do that? Of course not, I love my husband." She continued, "But if that was to happen, would it be a deal breaker? Of course not."

The Parkers star is quick to say too, that the idea of an open marriage was her idea, not her husband's. And she wanted it because, as someone in the spotlight, she wanted to be able to have whoever she wanted, whenever she wanted.

"When I first said that I was in an open marriage...it was not my husband's idea," Mo'Nique explained in a Periscope video. "Originally it was my idea cause at the time when Sid and I got together, ten years ago, and keep in mind this has been my best friend since we were 14, ... I was still stuck in being famous, and a celebrity and being a star. And I felt like I could have whatever I want."

She doesn't see it as cheating, however, because to her, cheating includes lying. The honesty she has with her husband makes all well between them.

The podcast will be available starting January 11, 2016.

In the video below, Mo'Nique discusses her very nontraditional marriage.
