Charlie Puth and Selena Gomez both had massive 2015s as they established themselves as major pop artists, but now it looks like the two will be harnessing their collective powers with a new single. On Wednesday (Dec. 9), the "See You Again" singer posted a snippet of a new song, potentially titled "We Don't Talk Anymore" on his Instagram.

The black and clip is a snappy 15 seconds, but the track packs a lot of punch. Think peak Robin Thicke with just the right amount of bubblegum pop and that throwback vibe that Puth has become known for, and you have "We Don't Talk Anymore."

Puth is the one who seems most heavily featured on the chorus (and is the star of the Instagram clip), but Gomez can be heard harmonizing in the background. More importantly, she shows off some of her big dance moves.

"Ooh it's such a shame we don't talk anymore / We don't talk anymore / We don't talk anymore like we used to do / We don't laugh anymore..." Puth can be seen lip-syncing while Gomez dances around, yelps and spins for the camera.

New song with @selenagomez coming soon.

The new song is apparently going to appear on Puth's debut album Nine Track Mind, which is due for release on Jan. 29, 2016.

Puth, of course, is no stranger to teaming up with big name collaborators. His Furious 7 single with Wiz Khalifa, "See You Again," was one of the biggest songs of the year. Puth also recorded "Marvin Gaye" with Meghan Trainor, which got quite the steamy performance at the 2015 American Music Awards.
