Los Angeles' Fonda Theater brought together the eclectic and talented group of the Beach Boys' Brian Wilson and Al Jardine, the Killers' Brandon Flowers, Heart's Ann Wilson, Norah Jones, Conan O'Brien, Flaming Lips, Weird Al Yankovic and more to pay tribute to George Harrison on September 28, 2014, just days after what would've been the Beatle's 73rd birthday. Now, George Fest: A Night To Celebrate The Music Of George Harrison, will be available for purchase on CD and DVD and if the trailer is any indication, it is definitely a "must buy" item.

Spoon's Britt Daniel, Perry Farrell, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Ben Harper, the Cult's Ian Astbury and the Strokes' Nick Valensi also participated in the one night event, produced by both Harrison's son Dhani and David Zonshine, Rolling Stone reports. George Fest brought about stirring renditions such as Traveling Wilburys' "Handle With Care," with the assistance of Flaming Lips frontman, Wayne Coyne, Flowers, Daniel, Yankovic and Dhani Harrison.

"I've always imagined a small club show where my generation of musicians could cut loose on some of the deeper tracks from his career," Dhani Harrison said in a statement according to UltimateClassicRock. "So, in a totally new and vibrant way, I once again found myself taking the stage with some of my most treasured musical heroes to the sound of the most familiar music in my life ... I hope you enjoy listening to these as much as I do. They are some of the best interpretations of my father's songs I could have ever thought possible."

The George Fest concert film will be available as across multiple platforms such as 2 CD/DVD, 2 CD/Blu-Ray and 3 LP packages or digital download. The honorary compilation boasts exclusive interviews with the musicians during rehearsals as they described the inspiration Harrison's music gave them and their own material.
