Dalton left the game this weekend with a fractured thumb and was spotted on the sidelines with a cast of sorts. Bengals coach Marvin Lewis told the media that his starting quarterback would miss next week's game, with no elaboration. An update suggests he'll miss up to six weeks, though. This means backup QB A.J. McCarren has to step up his game. It looks like the run game will be the main feature of the offense, with players like A.J Green and Giovani Bernard either seeing more targets or suffering from the new situation.

Dalton's teammate and superstar tight end this year, Tyler Eifert, is also on the injury report, though his injury is a concussion. This means that his progress has to be monitored ahead of the next game, which could change from day to day. If you don't have another TE, you might want to look at the waiver wire this week.

Other big injuries include running backs T.J Yeldon, LaGarrette Blount and Thomas Rawls. These players are clearly going to be missed by their respective teams if they don't return next week. Meanwhile, tight end Greg Olsen of the Carolina Panthers and Vincent Jackson of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers also suffered injuries in week 14. This news comes from Fantasy Pros.
