Coldplay, who will soon head out on their A Head Full Of Dreams Tour, have revealed that they will be taking audience requests during the shows.

During a recent interview with The Sun, frontman Chris Martin told the outlet that while the band has started to finalize their setlists, they are delegating a portion of the evening to fan requests. "What we will do on this tour is almost like a request segment," Martin stated. "We'd ask people to give us a reason why they want us to play that song so there is a purpose behind why we play it."

He further elaborated on how he envisions this playing out, adding: "I think we want to make it like a passport photobooth, so you go in and say, 'I am Derek, I would like you to play "The Hardest Part"...' So for example, if we are going to play a song like 'Spies' off 'Parachutes', it will be lovely to play it and say, 'This is for Helen from Bolton as this reminds her of her dad.' That is a bad example and not a real one."

If you'd like to get an idea of what some of the songs might sound like in a live setting, check out the couple of clips featuring A Head Full Of Dreams songs "Up&Up" and the titled track being performed, which were recorded at their Los Angeles performance towards the end of last month.

The new album was released on Dec. 4 via Parlophone and features guest vocals from Martin's ex Gwyneth Paltrow, Beyonce and her daughter Blue Ivy, and Oasis' Noel Gallagher. The album's lead single "Adventure Of A Lifetime" was accompanied by a strange CGI-monkey music video, which you can check out below.

Aside from the upcoming tour, the band is scheduled to appear as one of the musical acts for the 2016 NFL Superbowl Halftime Show and will also perform at the 2016 Brit Awards alongside Justin Bieber and Adele.
