Adele may be turning 26 today (May 5), but that doesn't mean the singer is saying goodbye to the number "25" for good. Yesterday (May 4) on her Twitter, Adele teased that she will be returning to the number later this year, presumably announcing the title of her new album in the process.

"Bye bye 25... See you again later in the year x," Adele tweeted, alongside a makeup-free selfie, complete with a big smile and a thumbs up. (See the photo above.)

Though the tweet itself is coy enough, it seems pretty obvious that Adele is teasing plans for her third studio album, and an album title of 25 would make sense for her. Her first two albums were titled 19 and 21, respectively, since those were the ages she recorded new music.

Adele was reportedly in the studio for a good portion of 2013, and it has been three years since the monstrous 21 dropped and dominated album sales and Grammy wins. (21 has sold over 10 million copies in the Uniter States alone, and the album won six Grammys in 2012.)

The long break between 2011's 21 and 2014's (presumed) 25 was relatively quiet for Adele, whose only new song was the award-winning James Bond theme "Skyfall." In the meantime, Adele gave birth to her first child, a son named Angelo, in 2012.
