After dropping his second EP, iLoveMakonnen is ready to put out some new music and he recently opened up about his upcoming album, revealing that the project will feature a collaboration with Kanye West.

During an interview with Paper Magazine, the “Tuesday” artist told the publication that he has already recorded with West and Rick Rubin. He is also planning a recording session with David Guetta in the near future.

It was previously reported that Makonnen’s debut album would include guest spots from Drake, Diplo, Rihanna, Skrillex and Snoop Dogg. There have also been reports that a song he wrote for Miley Cyrus floating around, too.

With two recently released projects under his belt this year, it is unlikely that the Atlanta native will put out his full length album anytime soon. In fact, he made note of taking a much needed break soon.

"I'm excited to take a break from all of this running around. I'm looking forward to traveling and enjoying things, because I feel like enjoyment has been taken away."

In November, he released his iLoveMakonnen 2 EP. The 7-track project features a collaboration with Santigold and production work from Danny Wolf, DJ Mustard, Richie Souf and more.

iLoveMakonnen 2 served as the follow-up to his iLoveMakonnen EP. He re-released the self-titled EP after signing to Drake's OVO Sound imprint. Drizzy announced the deal after remixing Makonnen's internet hit, "Tuesday,” which was later nominated for a Grammy. He performed a live rendition of his most notable release at BMI's 2015 R&B/Hip-Hop Awards.

Also in November, he dropped Whip It, his collaborative mixtape with Rich The Kid. In the past, the two teamed up with the Migos for a track with the same name.

Back in March, Makonnen released his Drink More Water 5 mixtape.
