Axwell Λ Ingrosso had a stellar 2015, and now that 2016 has arrived, the duo are already adding to their incredible resume. Released via their official Facebook page yesterday, was a compilation video titled, One Year Λ One Video, which recapped their impressive year in music in 2015, which consisted of six singles together, a headlining spot at Coachella, and an album announcement that was supposed to come out in 2015 (even if it didn't).
A few days ago, the duo announced that they had something "BIG" planned with Spotify for New Year's Eve. As it turns out, rather than the previous speculation that the duo was going to be releasing "Dream Bigger" with Pharrell on Spotify on NYE, Axwell & Ingrosso took to Facebook to announce that they had a special New Year's Eve playlist on Spotify for fans to stream all night. They stated on their Facebook page, "Happy New Year! We're playing the WORLD'S BIGGEST PARTY on Spotify tonight!"
As written in a previous Music Times article yesterday, the duo did in fact release "Dream Bigger" the other day, however, without Pharrell's vocals on the track, so it's just the instrumental version of the song. At this point, fans will have to wait a little longer to hear the track with the vocals.
As 2015 came to a close last night, the duo is making sure they start off 2016 with a bang! For now, we certainly know that the six songs they've released in the previous year, consisting of, "Sun Is Shining," "This Time," "Can't Hold Us Down," "Something New," "On My Way" and their latest, "Dream Bigger," are all signs that point to Axwell Λ Ingrosso taking things to new levels in 2016!
