Lil Wayne is continuing to prep the release of his long-anticipated 11th studio album Tha Carter V. After releasing "Believe Me" with Drake earlier this month, today (May 16), the Young Money boss dropped a new track: "D'Usse."

Lil Wayne's tribute to cognac begins with a candid shout out to two very important people in his life: God and Jay Z.

After a quietly spoken opening, "D'Usse" fires off with a blast of noise. An arrangement of stringed instruments, piano and high hat drum beats swell beneath Weezy's raps, which are hard-hitting as ever.

With a fittingly strained voice, Lil Wayne hits his raps hard all throughout "D'Usse," tackling a large variety of topics from women to his deceased homies to partying hard with a bottle of D'Usse.

Even if the song is lyrically and emotionally scattered, "D'Usse" benefits from a seemingly unending amount of epicness. The instrumentation is big, Lil Wayne's raps are forceful and loud, and this song is just begging to be played at volume 11.

So, feel free to do that. Listen to Lil Wayne's new track "D'Usse" below, via Billboard:

"D'Usse" is the second released track from Weezy's upcoming album Tha Carter V. He previously dropped "Believe Me," feat. Drake.

Though Tha Carter V was previously rumored to drop on May 5, thanks to Drake, that date came and went without the album dropping. Lil Wayne has yet to reveal an official release date, album cover or tracklist for the album.

Lil Wayne has previously said Tha Carter V will be his final solo album.
