Kanye West declared that he has a $53 million debt in a Twitter post that had people talking, especially when he asked help from Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg. With that, a fan has created a GoFundMe page to help the rapper get out of debt.

But the star is proud of his bizarre revelation because his "dreams brought him into debt." He added that his revelation will stop others from using the issue "against him in negotiations," Forbes reported.

The "Gold Digger" singer also tweeted a plea to the Facebook CEO to invest $1 billion for his ideas since he is the "greatest living artist and greatest artist of all time," asking Zuckerberg to call him, and he also asked help from his followers to get Zuckerberg to support him.

It appears that his Twitter rants has a huge impact to his followers since one fan named Jeremy Piatt created a GoFundMe campaign to help the rapper raise $53 million to pay for his debts. Piatt said on the page: "We must open our hearts and wallets for Kanye today. Sure he is personally rich and can buy furs and houses for his family, but without our help, the true genius of Kanye West can’t be realized."

At the time of writing, the GoFundMe page for West has $6,769 in donations from 648 people since the campaign's creation. Piatt also clarified in the website that he will not get a single penny from the funds that will be raised and that everything will go to the rapper.

Meanwhile, Business Insider wrote that West may not be with a $53 million personal debt since this is the amount he spent for his fashion line and music companies. He has spent a huge amount of money to build a set for his last tour and to create the short film, Cruel Summer. Apart from that, he also spent around $40 million for his Yeezy sneakers which is selling well but he personally funded all the designs.

The "Only One" singer has recently launched his new album as previously reported by Music Times. Business Insider also added that the star has many earning powers aside from his fashion line and music. His Yeezus tour in 2013 was even ranked second-highest grossing at $25 million.
