It wasn't too long ago that Selena Gomez was promoting the release of her second solo studio-album, Revival. Now the singer is gearing up to make her forthcoming album even better than the previous. After the 58th annual Grammy Awards on Monday (Feb. 15), Gomez spilled details with iHeartRadio about her new album and how she plans on preparing for her Revival Tour this spring.

The 23-year-old Texas native dropped Revival less than five months ago in October and since its debut, the album has generated three chart-topping singles with the potential for more success. It's hard to turn on any pop radio or top 40 radio station without hearing "Good For You," "Same Old Love," or "Hands to Myself." Gomez went on to perform these songs on different platforms including The Ellen DeGeneres Show, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, 2015 American Music Awards, 2015 Victoria Secret Fashion Show, and Saturday Night Live.

As she continues to hit the studio, the former Disney star revealed she is excited about the new project and the process that goes into making an album. Gomez will be working with a few familiar faces on the upcoming unnamed album and will be drawing from even more personal experiences to create the new material.

“I’m already getting back in the studio with everybody that I love and I’ve been more inspired than ever,” Selena told iHeartRadio.

Her hustle doesn't stop there. The Hotel Transylvania 2 star is also getting ready to kickoff her Revival Tour on May 6. Gomez will run through 42 cities including Seattle, Toronto, London, Washington, D.C., Atlanta, Miami, New Orleans, Chicago, and Los Angeles.

Gomez will first stop in Las Vegas at Mandalay Bay Events Center and conclude in Anaheim at the Honda Center, with Charlie Pluth as the special opening act. The Revival Tour will run from from May 6 to July 9.

“Creating the tour right now is even more surreal because I’m bringing it to life,” Selena said. “It’s very, very genuine. The whole tour you’re going to feel so connected and I love that and I can’t wait for people to be a part of it.”
