Not sure where these rumors originated from, but apparently Eminem might release his highly-anticipated new album on Labor Day (September 2, 2013). That's in one month! Come on, Slim, don't let the fans down... Meanwhile, reports "confirm" that Em will perform some NEW rap beats at G-Shock's "Shock the World" party in NYC on August 7. Just a few days later, Slim will embark on a mini-tour of Europe. The "Not Afraid" rapper's one busy man!

An official Labor Day release date sort of makes sense... rumors suggest that Shady wants to debut the new record following his European tour this August. That means early fall... maybe even Sept. 2nd?

Fans shouldn't hold their breath, though. The same thing was said about the day after Memorial Day (May 28). And obviously that never happened. What's with Eminem supposedly scheduling the release of his unnamed eighth studio record around USA-inspired holidays? Sounds a little fishy...

Anyway, here's the August tour dates for Europe:

August 15, 2013: Kempische Steenweg, Kiewit (Pukkelpop 2013)
August 17, 2013: Slane, Ireland
August 20, 2013: Dumbreck Road, Glasgow Eminem
August 21, 2013: Bramham Park, Leeds (Leeds Festival 2013)
August 22, 2013: Stade De France, La Plaine St Denis
August 23, 2013: Bramham Park, Wetherby (Leeds Festival 2013)
August 24, 2013: Reading, Reading (Reading Festival 2013)
August 25, 2013: Bramham Park, Leeds (Leeds Festival 2013)

Meanwhile, several reports allege that Em will finally debut some new music next week (before heading overseas). According to Vibe, Shady will perform at G-Shock's "Shock The World" on Aug. 7 at a top-secret NYC location. DJ Mick Boogie and fellow Shady Records rapper Yelawolf will also perform. James Marsden, Jessica Stam, and Brooklyn Nets center Brook Lopez will also appear as guest speakers (allegedly).

Shady did grace the G-Shock stage during last year's monumental celebration...

According to an inside source for Enstars, Em will "leak" some new tunes at this year's event. "He has a lot of dope tracks, but great music takes time... Fans need to be patient... it'll be worth the wait."

It better be worth the wait!
