Guns N’ Roses member Chris Pittman has apologized to the band for his diss on the impending tour, which he referred to as a “money grab” and a “nostalgia tour." Pittman served as a keyboardist for Guns N’ Roses dating back to 1998, and is now backing down on his earlier views on their upcoming live shows, which are slated to make quite a bit of money for the reunited original members.
For their upcoming shows Axl Rose and Slash put aside their long-running feud to play together with Duff McKagan. The only original member who will not be joining is former guitarist Izzy Stradlin.
“This is a nostalgia tour, please don’t mention those who are there the last 20 f*cking years… oh god no… a money grab… FU,” Pittman said according to NME in a since deleted post.
To apologize to the rest of the band, Pittman went on Twitter and admitted that he was drunk at the time of the original post, advising the kids to not “drink and text.”

The band’s tour is certainly set up to be lucrative, and the VIP experience at one of the band’s Las Vegas shows costs a cool $2,500. What the VIP experience doesn’t include is a meet and greet with Slash, Axl and Duff McKagan but it does feature a seat 1-10 rows from the stage and a spot in the “backstage area” before the show. It also includes autographed and silk-screened Guns N’ Roses tour poster and a photo op onstage preceding the show.
