When Radiohead announced a few international festival dates earlier this year, it was a bit of a double-edged sword for fans. On one hand, the band would once again be hitting the live circuit for the first time since 2012. But on the other hand, the shows were far-reaching in Berlin, Barcelona and Montreal. But on Monday (March 14), there was a bit of relief when Radiohead revealed a full roster of 2016 tour dates.

According to Radiohead's official website, their tour will span 14 cities across the globe and 22 total shows. After playing a series of European shows, Radiohead will take on North America with five shows this year: two in New York, two in Los Angeles and the previously announced Osheaga Music and Arts Festival in Montreal.

With the tour announcement, it seems as though Radiohead is gearing up for the release of a new album. As Pitchfork points out, the band shared new artwork on its Facebook and Twitter, once again spawning rumors that their ninth studio album is imminent.

Radiohead's last album The King of Limbs was released in February 2011.

Tickets for the majority of the Radiohead shows will go on sale Friday, March 18. Tickets for the Mexico City dates will go on sale March 16 and the Lyon, France, date will go on sale March 30.
