Keri Hilson is putting an end to her musical hiatus. The “Pretty Girl Rock” singer announced her return with a new album, L.I.A.R.

The project will serve as her third album and her first release since 2010’s No Boys Allowed. As noted by Rap-Up, Hilson will use the album to address her absence from the music industry.

“I promise, I will tell my fans everything on this album. Why I was really gone, what actually happened, what didn’t, what I could control, and what I couldn’t,” Hilson said. “Never will I ever again take a break from music.”

The Atlanta songstress is gearing up for the release of the album’s first single, “Again,” which was produced by Mike WiLL Made-It and co-written by R. City. The single is slated to be released on Friday (March 18).

Last July, Hilson shared two new songs, one of which featured Young Thug. At the time, it was reported that the songs would be featured on her album set to be released in August 2015.

In 2013, she discussed her return to music with XXL saying the music will "speak for itself."

"I feel like people are just going to know. The music is going to speak for itself. I don't think I need to re-introduce myself to the world. I've been blessed to have fans all over the world. I know that they will hold me down and spread the word."

L.I.A.R. will be released via Zone 4/Interscope/Mosley Music Group later this year and also features contributions from Chris Brown, Polow Da Don, Timbaland, Danja and more.
