Could you recognize your favorite song from just its guitar melody? How about its bassline? The backing vocals? That's a question Christina Aguilera and Spike TV are looking to answer. On Tuesday (March 15), Spike announced it has joined forces with The Voice coach and Lionsgate for a new musical game show, Tracks.

According to a press release, Tracks will feature teams of two, who will attempt to guess a popular song just by listening to certain parts of its production, a.k.a. the guitar, bass, vocals, or drums.

"Having finely tuned my ear for music over the years, I thought it would be fun to test other folks and see if they can identify a track - with a twist - since contestants will have to focus on a single component of a song. I'm excited to have Tracks debuting on Spike TV, and proud to have this as the first project springing from our first-look deal with Lionsgate," Aguilera said in a statement.

Like Spike TV's fellow hit Lip Sync Battle, the show will feature cameos from celebrity music guests, who will appear on the show to perform parts of their own hits (or other people's).

Aguilera is set to executive produce the show alongside her fiancé Matthew Rutler, and Hollywood Game Night's Michael Agbabian and Dwight D. Smith.

Tracks is due to premiere on Spike TV later this year. Full details about the show, including an exact premiere date and the eventual host have yet to be announced.

Aguilera's dive into the world of producing a TV show should come as no big surprise for fans; she's been building a presence on the small screen for years, including as one of four coaches on The Voice.
