Rihanna and Drake continue to be an unstoppable "Work" force. For the fifth straight week, the lead Anti single leads the Hot 100 in the United States, beating hot, rising singles from Lukas Graham and Ariana Grande.
As Anti leads the album chart in the U.S., "Work" continues to dominate the world of singles. According to Billboard, "Work" leads streams this week with 34 million plays, giving it an easy No. 1 spot despite a third-place slot on Radio Songs and an 11 percent decrease in sales (97,000 copies sold).
Rihanna's "Work" isn't the only single to stay put for five straight weeks; Justin Bieber's former chart topper "Love Yourself" is also locked in place yet again, with a fifth week at No. 2. The sixth-most popular song on the country, Zayn Malik's "Pillowtalk," also spends a fifth straight week in its position.
But, as for quickly rising singles Lukas Graham's "7 Years" continues to vault up the charts. It rose from No. 5 to No. 3 this week thanks largely in part to sales. For the second week, "7 Years" was the most-sold song in the country, moving 125,000 digital downloads. Thanks to strong sales and a surge in streaming to 13.9 million plays and a 22 percent increase in radio, "7 Years" eclipsed Twenty One Pilots' "Stressed Out" and Flo Rida's "My House." Each of those hits fell one spot, moving to No. 4 and No. 5, respectively.
Beneath the top six, three more familiar songs are locked in place for Nos. 7 through 9. G-Eazy's "Me, Myself & I" spends a fourth week at No. 7 and Bieber once again makes a top 10 appearance with "Sorry," which spends a second week at No. 8. DNCE, led by Joe Jonas, maintain their high position with "Cake by the Ocean," which spends a second week at No. 9.
And, a new song rounds out the top 10: Ariana Grande's "Dangerous Woman." The title track from her forthcoming third studio album (due out on May 20) starts its chart run at No. 10 thanks to a big build up and her double duty on Saturday Night Live.
