As Brick Squad producer Southside has confirmed, there exists a recorded collaboration between rappers Jay Z and Future.

Further, the "Blow a Bag" producer says that this track will be released to audiences in the near future.

Visiting DJ Whoo Kid's radio show, Southside also revealed that DJ Khaled was involved in the project as well. This news comes mere weeks after Khaled announced that he'd be moving to Roc Nation.

"I got the new single with Jay Z and Future too. With Khaled," Southside told listeners. "That sh**'s crazy. The beat, I made it with Jake One. I f**k with Jake One. I sample Jake One s**t a lot. I made it with Jake One and a dude named G Koop...I just sample people I know and give 'em co-production on it."

During the interview, Southside was also asked why he chose a career as a producer as opposed to that of performing or songwriting. The question prompted the Brick Squad member to recollect on his time spent with rapper Gucci Mane.

"I fell in love with making beats," he said. "It was fun. I was good at it...I was 19 in the house living with Gucci Mane when he was lit. Can you imagine that...Before 'Wasted' I was there. It was different, bro. It was different. I was just trying to capitalize. I used to think like 'If I can get Gucci on the song, I'm lit.'"

Perhaps Southside is correct given the breadth and popularity of his work. Hopefully, if the influential producer is correct about the upcoming collaboration, audiences will once again receive another classic Southside hit. With Future, DJ Khaled, and Jay Z at its helm, it seems a manageable task.
