Gaga then started tweeting some of the lyrics to the song. "Give me that thing that I love put your hands up make 'em touch A-P-P-L-A-U-S-E," Gaga tweeted. She then tweeted more lyrics again this weekend writing, "i stand here waiting for you to bang the gong to crash the critic saying: is it right or is it wrong? 8.19."

Gaga also has been giving out details regarding the special app that will be released along with ARTPOP. Gaga says on Twitter that the app is free and available via iTunes and/or GooglePlay on your smartphone's app store. You can download the app placeholder on August 19 in preparation for the ARTPOP release on November 19. The "Applause" single and music video will both be released on August 19 as well. Fans will be able to purchase Gaga's new album via the app and also apparently interact and socialize with other "Little Monsters" via the app.
