There's one word in the English-speaking language the music industry wouldn't use to describe Beyoncé: predictable. On Sunday (Apr. 17), she took to her various social media accounts to give fans a mysterious sneak peek of her upcoming project, Lemonade, before making its world premiere on HBO this weekend.

Beyonce gave the BeyHive a taste of what's to come with an extended version of her forthcoming project and it's filled with compelling imagery accompanied by dramatic cinematography. The clip features sporadic scenes of dark stormy skies, women on the subway decked out in tribal-like face paint, blood red corridors, building going up in flames, and Beyonce smashing a surveillance camera with a baseball bat.

"The past and the present merge to meet us here," Beyonce said in the video, beginning an erratic sequence of statements and rhetorical questions. "What are you hiding? Lovers as trees. Why can't you see me? The love of my...you're the love of my life. Every fear...wrap your legs around me. What am I doing my love? Pull me in. Pull me in. Pull me in."

In the initial brief teaser she posted on Saturday (Apr. 16), the 34-year-old Texas Bama is seen leaning against a luxury car with her head down in a parking garage. Beyoncé's face remains obscured by a large fur coat, but still leaving room to show off her blonde cornrows. She then begins to slowly lift her head up as an increasing white noise plays in the background. Before the 20-second clip comes to an end, Bey asks, "What am I gonna' do now love? What am I gonna' do?"

After all that, the question still remains: what is Lemonade and more importantly, is there any connection between it and Bey's rumored new album? The visuals, which also aired on HBO right before Vinyl's season one finale, could be anything from an elaborate music video to a mini-movie.

Viewers will learn the answer to at least one of those questions when Lemonade premieres on Saturday (Apr. 23) at 9 p.m. EST on HBO and again on Sunday (Apr. 24) at 8 p.m., right before Game of Thrones makes its sixth season return.
