Boom who? Don't worry you aren't the only one asking that question. Brand new (his socials only began a few days ago) Los Angeles-based producer BoomDog is releasing his very first song tomorrow "Mine With Gold" featuring the vocals of Russian singer Annia. However we are happy to premiere the fun, upbeat electro-pop song to you before then today.

BoomDog originally got his start producing at Berklee College Of Music, studying music production and engineering. He originally worked on rock, but then moving to his love electronic music. This was how he met Annia.

Their relationship grew into this new single "Mine Of Gold," which has elements of house, pop and even a little rock mixed in. The cheery and well produced cut rises and falls with mellow verses, but sticks in your mind long after the last second with its catchy hooks and mix of future house bass plucks and synth chords.

Speaking to us via email, BoomDog explains the inspiration for the song and how quickly this came together.

"We all have a time in which we feel we are not good enough and close ourselves up and we create a world based on superficial connections with no real deep feelings, a wall, because we are too afraid to let anyone in. This song came together in a time when I needed to remind myself and someone I knew, that we are a mine with gold, everyone, we are one of a kind and if we open up ourselves to love, good things will happen," says the producer.

"I made the song in literally 2 days using Ableton. Once it was ready I called Russian singer Annia who I had met in school, and worked on the vocals. She definitely brought in something special to the track, her vocals just made the song. Five days later of intense recording, 'Mine with Gold' was ready for mixing."

Mine Of Gold will be released on Spotify and iTunes tomorrow, April 21. Check out the lyric video exclusively below.
