Bruno Mars just revealed about the release of an album after it was delayed due to his Super Bowl halftime performance with Beyonce and Coldplay but it appears that the Hawaiian hit maker is making another music with Missy Elliott.

Fans are very excited after a photo of Elliott and Mars surfaced on Twitter which Elliott shared on her account with a caption that says, "Had a blast vibing wit my fam @BrunoMars @ the studio! GoodVibes He got some [fire]! He such a rare gem! Big up Sunny."

The "Work It" singer also shared the same image on her Instagram but with a lengthier caption saying, "She wrote a lengthier caption on her Instagram."I am so humbled & grateful Bruno------------ We laughed & laughed the whole night then he played me some --ass songs 4 his album Whewwww-- #INCREDIBLE! --It's so inspiring to vibe with ppl who can create real music & have a creative mind! Big up to lisenny from Brooklyn ayyyye---- see y'all soon!"

The photo seems to hint about the two's potential music collaboration since they are in a recording studio. But it is not yet clear if they are working on a track for Mar's upcoming album or a new song of Elliott.

Mars was supposed to release an album last month but it was set back due to rehearsals for the Super Bowl halftime show, as previously reported by Music Times. The forthcoming album will be his third LP which is now due to be released on September or October this year.

"It was due in March, but by doing the Super Bowl, it threw him back several months," Mar's father Pete Hernandez said, according to NME. "Bruno has seven great new songs -- I've heard them -- but the album should now be released in September or October, to qualify for next year's Grammy Awards."

Meanwhile, Elliott just released "WTF (Where They From)" last fall produced by Pharrell Williams and "Pep Rally" last February. She also revealed that she will be releasing a comeback album as a follow-up to The Cookbook in 2005, Billboard reported.

Elliott and Mars are both Super Bowl performer alumni since Elliott performed on 2004's SB XLVIII and also made a surprise performance during Katy Perry's SB XLIX set in 2015.
