UK-based production and DJ trio Knoxa, comprised of Samuel Paul, Tom Hollings and Kes Noel aren't like the stereotype one expects from the modern day DJs. Between the three of them, they boast the ability to play any one of twelve instruments and have backgrounds in rock, hip-hop, jazz and house music that all come together in their own club-driven sound. They released their first record on Ultra Records last month "Bang Bang" featuring the vocals of Los Angeles-based vocalist Georgia Ku and are now back with the special VIP mix of it.

"We came up with this mix whilst writing the original and decided to release it as it's a good alternative to that mix," says the trio in a statement to Music Times. "It's a bit more bass heavy for the club shows and has been going down really well - we hope you like it!"

The new VIP mix strips away some of the more melodic elements in the original, swapping out the cheery and summery dance piano for deeper bass stabs that bring the tune straight to the club. Ku's remarkably infectious vocal gets distorted and sped up to fit the VIP mix.

The trio have a busy 2016 ahead with gigs and building on their remix catalog for the likes of 5 Seconds of Summer, Omi, Flux Pavillion and others.

The VIP mix will be released on May 20 via Ultra Records, but until then you can listen to it exclusively below.
