One Direction member Niall Horan, along with many others in the music industry, is questioning the Brexit decision.

Horan took to Twitter to voice his concerns on the decision the U.K. made to leave the European Union. He is not the only U.K. celebrity to make his opinions known, as Ellie Goulding and Lily Allen have joined the chorus of voices.

Following the Brexit decision, the hashtags #Brexit and #EUref hashtags burned through Twitter and other social media platforms as many in the music industry and beyond had the desire to voice their opinions on the changes looming over the horizon.

The Brexit plan, which was voted by the U.K. electorate, is in favor of the U.K. leaving the European Union, which comprises 28 countries.

The British Prime Minister David Cameron also stepped down from his position as part of the Brexit plan. Celebrities are speaking out due to the ways in which the plan will complicate the music industry, with the potential to affect touring, record sales and copyright legislation according to Billboard.

While the Brexit decision was a victory for those who campaigned for it, not everyone may feel that way now that the economic and political union established in 1993 will dissolve.

The only certainty that these musicians have is that the music industry will have a new national leader this upcoming October. Disclosure even went as far as to tweet that they were "Moving to Mars with Bowie."
