It will be a major throwback as the 90s band, Backstreet Boys, will be once again heard on the airwaves. The vocal group is about to release a new song in collaboration with the country music duo, Florida Georgia Line, and teased the coming of their own new album.

Brian Littrell and Nick Carter shared the good news with their Instagram followers by posting distinctive snaps. "In the Lab. Doing something we've never done before. BSB feature with FGL. Great record. Comes out late August," Littrell captioned his photo.

The 41-year-old's picture featured a mixing console and seemed to be in a recording studio. The 36-year-old Carter, on the other hand, took a selfie inside the music booth.

"In the studio with my @backstreetboys recording a song for @flagaline new album. Also working on the new backstreet album as well. Get ready!!!" The I Heart Nick Carter star wrote.

However, Backstreet Boys and Florida Georgia Line are not officially announcing the title of their upcoming single yet, but Littrell shared that it will be out in August as part of the duo's soon-to-be-released album, as per Teen Vogue.

Moreover, Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard of Florida Georgia Line have been known for their exceptional music collaborations with other famous music stars. In fact, they have already worked with Nelly on their hit song, "Cruise."

They, too, co-wrote Jason Aldean's "Burnin' It Down." At the "This is How we Roll" hitmakers' concert in South Dakota, Kelly told the concert viewers that "Backstreet Boys was his first concert," CNN reported.

Meanwhile, it looks like 2016 is going to be a a good year for Backstreet Boys as they have been back in the center stage. To recall, the group serenaded the beauties from Miss USA 2016, had a guest appearance on Lip Sync Battle and announced their Las Vegas residency recently.

As Carter revealed they're working on a new album, it will be the group's eight studio compilation while the song they have been working on with Florida Georgia Line will be part of the latter's fourth record, Billboard cited.

Kelley and Hubbard's last collection, called Anything Goes, was released in 2014, while Backstreet Boy's previous album, In A World Like This, was launched in 2013.
