It's an Oakland thing.

Word is that R&B newcomer Adrian Marcel will be joining fellow hometown native Keyshia Cole on her Point Of No Return tour.

His name and the announcement of his presence may ring a bell as he recently performed rendition of the James Brown's "It's A Man's World" at this year's BET Awards.

Cole's tour kicks off at the end of this month. Her 26-city Point of No Return tour starts on Tuesday, July 22 at St. Andrews Hall in Detroit, Michigan and will come to a close August 25 at the House of Blues in San Diego, California.

Marcel's new single, "2AM" featuring Sage The Gemini, is doing well at radio outlets nationwide. The single recently made its debut in the Top 10 on iTunes R&B chart.
