More than three years after leaving Bon Jovi, guitarist Richie Sambora congratulated frontman Jon Bon Jovi on the group's latest single "This House Is Not For Sale."

The singer also reached out to his former bandmate and said that he's looking forward to hearing his upcoming album, which Sambora is currently working on with his girlfriend and fellow musician Orianthi.

On Aug. 12, Bon Jovi released the single "This House is Not for Sale" from the upcoming album of the same name. A couple of days later, Sambora, who was with the band from 1983 to 2013, took to Twitter to congratulate his former bandmates, according to Billboard.

The guitarist also included a video of him and Orianthi to wish the band well.

Through Bon Jovi's official Twitter account, Jon Bon Jovi responded to Sambora's tweet to thank him.

As noted by People, Sambora and Jon Bon Jovi's kind words to one another indicate that the two musicians are on good terms despite rumors about a feud between them. These rumors started in April 2013 when Sambora decided to leave the band while they were on tour due to personal issues.

According to Jon Bon Jovi, he hasn't seen Sambora ever since he left the band years ago. In a statement to CBS News, the vocalist hinted that he understood Sambora's decision to leave.

"Being in a rock band is not a life sentence... you have other things in your life that you care to do," he said. "But it's okay, because you share your art as long as you choose to share it. You know, you don't have to do this for a living -- you choose to do it for a living."

As for the band, Bon Jovi's 14th studio album This House Is Not For Sale is scheduled to be released on Oct. 21, 2016.
