Kanye West has confirmed that he and Drake are currently working together for a new album. According to the "Famous" rapper, he and the "Hotline Bling" singer have already started creating new material for the project.

West made the revelations during a recent interview with Vogue for his Yeezy Season 4 show. As noted by the publication, murmurs about a joint project from West and Drake emerged after a billboard showing the two rappers' music company logos popped up in Los Angeles recently.

When asked about the possible album, West confirmed that he's been spending time with Drake inside a studio.

"We're just working on music, working on a bunch of music together, just having fun going into the studio," he told Vogue. "We're working on an album, so there's some exciting things coming up soon."

Despite confirming the project, West did not mention a projected release date for the album or what it will be called.

West first hinted about the joint project with Drake during the OVO Fest 2016 in early August. During his set, the rapper teased the crowd about a new album. After clarifying that he wasn't taking about The Life of Pablo, he pointed to Drake who then shared the stage with him.

As noted by Billboard, West and Drake have already talked about collaborating even before the former made the revelation to Vogue. Back in 2015, West admitted that his track "Wolves" from The Life of Pablo was inspired by the idea of working on a project with Drake.
