As you're off grilling those burgers, chowing down on some hot dogs and celebrating with a number of good friends, remember one thing: the cast of Pitch Perfect 2 wishes you a Happy Fourth of July!

Skylar Astin and Ben Platt were recently spotted in a video posted on YouTube by actress Elizabeth Banks which shows the two performers singing "America the Beautiful." The song is sung a cappella – much in tune to the film they're promoting – by the duo along with the message "Happy Fourth of July" afterwards. And yes, they're donning those famous velvet jackets.

Not only does the video make us want to check out Pitch Perfect 2 when it hits the theaters next year (2015) but it also answers that question we were all asking when watching the first film: Are they really singing?

Apparently, yes, they were, and they're aca-stonishing!

In the original film, Pitch Perfect, both Astin and Platt play members of the Treblemakers, an a cappella group rivaling the Bellas, which is the all-female group that holds Anna Kendrick as the "leader."

The patriotic  video was used earlier this morning on NBC's Today Show as their intro video just before pop star Ed Sheeran took to the stage.

So, who is excited for Pitch Perfect 2?
