A$AP Mob has finally unveiled the details for their oft-discussed collaborative album. It now has a name Cozy Tapes Vol. 1: Friends, a tracklist with 12 songs in total, release date and a cover with baby A$AP Yams, birthmark and all.
The compilation features the already released singles "Yambourghini High" and "Crazy Brazy." Two more tracks, "Telephone Calls" and "Runner" will arrive this Friday, Oct. 28. They have picked Halloween as their official release date for the compilation. It will arrive through A$AP Worldwide / Polo Grounds Music / RCA Records.
The whole crew will be on the LP including names like A$AP Rocky, A$AP Nast, Yung Lord, Skepta, A$AP Twelvyy, A$AP Ant, Juicy J, A$AP Ferg, Key! and more.
The idea for the compilation was first conceived by the group's spiritual leader A$AP Yams, who tragically passed away in early 2015. The compilation is another tribute to him, along with the annual Yams Day concert that the crew started earlier in 2016.
In addition to the two new singles, the crew has released a short film that features "Money Man" and "Put That On My Set." It was produced by AWGE and directed by A$AP Rocky and Dexter Navy.
The film is set in a world where people take butterflies as a drug to escape their problems in a poor, urban area. Rocky reclaims the role he played in Dope as a powerful, money-rich drug dealer.
