Last month, West Coast rapper Game caused an internet frenzy when he released "Bigger Than Me," a track many assumed to be a diss directed at XXL's Freshman class.

While Game said he actually recorded the track last August, he did admit to deciding to release it around the time he and Tyga released their "ChiRaq to LA" track.

None the less, the people have been wondering how the Freshman class feels about the track and two brave souls have spoken up.

According to XXLTroy Ave simply brushed the track off saying it was a bunch of "shenanigans."

During an interview with VladTV  Kevin Gates said he wassn't fazed one bit.

"I heard that [Game dissed the freshman.] But I ain't never hear the song," Gates said.

Gates says he's aware of his place in the rap game and that "penitentiary rules" apply.

"And then, I ain't gonna lie, where I'm at in the game right now, I'm say penitentiary rules in effect. When you getting off that bus, hitting that facility, they got people on that yard saying anything on that yard to you. But, once you get on that yard, that's when it's game time. So I can't entertain words. You can't defeat me with words whoever you are," he explained.

Gates is currently gearing up for his By Any Means tour, which hits the road next week.
