Former 4 Non Blondes member Linda Perry recently posted a Reddit AMA in order to promote her new VH1 show, Make or Break. During the "conversation," Perry was specifically asked a number of questions about her experience writing and producing songs for some of the industry's top artists. One fan then asked about Beyoncé songwriting capabilities, and it seems safe to say Perry is rather unimpressed.

The songwriter was asked, "Linda, how do you feel about Beyoncé changing one word on a song and getting writing credit. Does that bother you as a songwriter?"

She answered back: "Well hahaha um thats not songwriting but some of these artists believe if it wasn't for them your song would never get out there so they take a cut just because they are who they are. But everyone knows the real truth even Beyonce. She is talented but in a completely different way."

Perry was then inundated with questions regarding a number of other artists including Pink, Christina Aguilera, Pharrell and Kanye West, but it seems she was more open about working with the former Voice judge than anyone else. In fact, Perry called Aguilera's "Candyman" her favorite song that she's produced over the years, mainly because "it was just a super fun song."

She also made some memorable comments about the topic of songwriting credit (or lack thereof), writing, "Its pretty messed up. I actively speak out on Pandora. If it weren't for music they would have no success but that's greed man. Hopefully they will adjust these conditions."
