Anna Faris recently shared her and ex-husband Chris Pratt's secret in co-parenting their 5-year-old son, Jack. The ex-couple filed for divorce last year.
Anna Faris, Chris Pratt Are Friends
On Tuesday, Faris clarified that even though she and Pratt are no longer together, they still have so much love and respect for each other. She also said that she and her ex-husband are good friends.
"We are great and there's so much friendship and love, and we surround Jack with love, and funny, kind, happy people, and as a result, he is really happy," said Faris.
During another interview, Faris said that she and Pratt are also on the same page when it comes to disciplining their son. They also support Jack whenever he does something hilarious. At the end of the day, the couple makes sure that their son is their top priority.
"I think it's those small moments in life, when your kid says something funny or like for me, I love what I do so I get a kick out of feeling like I nailed a joke well. And family and friends!" said the actress.
Divorce Filed
Faris and Pratt announced their decision to go their separate ways in August 2017. Four months later, Pratt filed for divorce from the Mom star. After a few days, Faris submitted her response to Pratt's filing in court. They both cited irreconcilable differences as the main reason behind their split.
Even after their split, Faris said that Pratt is still incredibly supportive of her endeavors. He even wrote the introduction to her memoir Unqualified. She also said that they will always have each other's backs no matter what.
Who Is Michael Barrett?
Two months after Faris announced her split from Pratt, the actress was rumored to be dating Michael Barrett, a 47-year-old cinematographer. The funny woman has not yet officially confirmed the status of their relationship, but they have been spotted publicly a couple of times.
In November, the couple traveled to Venice, Italy for a short vacation. Faris' son did not join them at that time. It is still unclear whether or not Jack has already met Barrett.
Last month, reports revealed that Faris and Barrett have started house hunting in Los Angeles. The couple looked at properties between the $3 million and $4 million price range.
Pratt has not been linked to another woman, and the actor has not yet gone out on dates. He is currently enjoying a quiet life on his farm.
