Following widespread reports that she's been not-so-secretly hooking up with fellow actor Chris Pratt, Olivia Munn took to social media to set the record straight.

The Office Christmas Party star, who broke up with her longtime boyfriend Aaron Rodgers of the Green Bay Packers in April of last year, was responding to an inflammatory Entertainment Tonight report. The article claimed she and Pratt had recently shared a "romantic dinner" in a Hollywood hotspot and that he "had his arm around her at one point."

Munn took to Instagram to shoot down the rumors, following suggestions in the press that Anna Faris, Pratt's ex-wife, was upset with her. Munn wrote that "not every woman is scorned and upset after a breakup," nor is she furious at the new paramour who's supposedly taken her place.

Tagging Pratt's official account, Munn also suggested that if they were together, it still wouldn't cause to fall out with Faris (and also, their combined couple name would suck).

"Women respect and love each other a lot more than some people like to think," she wrote.

To top it all off, Munn shared a screenshot of a recent text exchange with Faris herself. The X-Men: Apocalypse actress revealed how she'd reached out to Faris privately to set the record straight.

"I'm sure you already know it's not true, or maybe you didn't care either way, but I just wanted to reach out personally to tell you it's not true," Munn told Faris.

On her part, Faris responded enthusiastically, thanking Munn for reaching out and even telling her she'd be "thrilled" to have her as a sister-in-law.

Pratt filed for divorce from Faris, whom he was married to for eight years, in December of last year. The two announced their split in August, shocking fans who'd held the couple up as America's sweethearts.

They continue to co-parent son Jack whom they share joint custody of and remain as very vocal, public friends. Faris recently told Extra that the most important thing is their child and that they still hold a lot of love and affection for each other. She told the publication that Jack is really happy as a result.

Faris has been recently linked to cinematographer Michael Barrett. She's been spending time with him since working together on a remake of Overboard, the movie made famous by Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn (who have given the project their blessing). The two even went on vacation together in Italy back in November.
