Stranger Things Season 3 has a lot of things in store for Will Byers (Noah Schnapp). However, his experiences will not be similar to what happened to him in the first two seasons.

Executive producer Shawn Levy opened up about the award-winning Netflix series and said that the cast members are currently on their much-deserved break. When the filming of Season 3 begins, everyone, especially the young cast members will be working nonstop for the next couple of months.

What's Next For Will Byers?

Before sharing some new details about Stranger Things Season 3, the exec first confirmed that Schnapp's character will have a bit of an easier time in the upcoming episodes. Fans might probably assume that one of Will's friends will be fighting the Shadow Monster in Season 3, but this will not be the case.

"We're going to be dealing with forces of evil that are new," said Levy.

The executive producer also confirmed that Stranger Things will have eight or nine episodes in Season 3. He added that he and his team have already laid out all of the storylines.

Unfortunately, the series might not stream on Netflix until 2019. The production for the series has not also commenced, but David Harbour said that filming is supposed to begin in March or April.

Dustin And Steve's Friendship

One of the most interesting storylines in Season 3 would have to do with Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo) and Steve (Joe Keery). The two men bonded in Season 2 when they tried to get rid of the Shadow Monster.

"In season two, it was all very cute and there was funny factor to it because it was unexpected, but now that it is expected, I want to see them connect more and be more familiar with each other. I want them to have a connection like they've really had a connection for a year - like they're brothers," revealed Levy.

Young Cast Members Refuse To Share Spoilers

If Levy has been generous with giving out spoilers, the young cast of Stranger Things has been the exact opposite. While at the 2018 Screen Actor Guild Awards, Matarazzo said that he knows nothing about the upcoming season. Schnapp joked that all of the characters will die, and the series will end after next season.

"There's no show - it starts and then the credits just roll. We are all dead," said Matarazzo.
