Another excellent electronic "dance" music performer is coming to American shores (Music Times reported on Indian acid house predecessor Charanjit Singh coming yesterday). This time, it will be Daniel Avery, a UK-based performer responsible for at least this reporter's favorite electronic album of 2013, Drone Logic. Unfortunately, yet again it will only be three cities and maybe four dates total in America for the underground star.

We say "maybe four" because one of the shows is only rumored at the moment. The second "leg" of his tour will take the deejay to Seattle for his first date ever in the city. He'll be playing a scheduled show at the Re-Bar sponsored by Decibel. However, Resident Advisor reports that he'll also be playing a "private loft party" following the show. However he'll be opening his stop in the United States in Chicago at the Smart Bar. He'll wrap up the mini-tour by playing with Conan Mockasin, Four Tet and Jamie xx at the FYF Festival in Los Angeles.

NPR also placed Drone Logic on its end-of-the-year list, referring to it as such: "At times his angular melodies pop like hot coals against a blaze of noise, at others, the flares extinguish beneath calm waters. Whatever the temperature, it always feels just right."

Here are those dates again, assembled more in-order-like. Hope you're close enough to go, because we ain't.

08/22: Chicago @ Smart Bar

08/23: Seattle @ Re-Bar

08/24: Los Angeles @ FYF Fest
