LANCO soars to the top at the Billboard Top Country Albums for their debut Hallelujah Nights and lands No. 20 on the Billboard 200 Album chart.

The first full-length studio album from the five-member band took the lead in the week ending Feb. 3 following its release on Jan. 19. Hallelujah Nights, from record label Arista Nashville/Sony Music Nashville, sold 19,000 album units with 13,000 in traditional sales.

Fans may already be familiar with three of the songs in the 11-track album from producer Jay Joyce — "Long Live Tonight," "Greatest Love Story," and "Born To Love You." LANCO, which stands for the Lancaster and Company, released "Long Live Tonight" in 2016. The song landed No. 32 on Oct. 1 and No. 46 on Nov. 12 on Billboard's Country Airplay and Hot Country Songs, respectively.

Meanwhile, "Born To Love You" grabbed the No. 48 spot on Hot Country Songs and the acclaimed single "Greatest Love Story" led the Country Airplay for weeks Dec. 2 and Dec. 9, 2017. It also soared to the top on Hot Country Songs in the week ending Dec. 9, 2017, and reigned over the iTunes Country chart since its release.

Talking about Hallelujah Nights, LANCO frontman Brandon Lancaster says it is a "surreal feeling" to finally have their first album out after a long wait. He believes that their album glorifies the reality of life while it explores country living as told by different people from different places.

"We've always believed in the power of country music storytelling. We aimed to do that on every track of Hallelujah Nights. Our stories have different people, different names, different places, but they all have the same emotions attached to them. It's not fantasy-related," Lancaster tells Billboard.

Lancaster also talks about the success of the album in a separate interview, admitting that he cannot put into words what it means to have their album lead the charts. However, he expressed his gratitude to the fans who listen to their songs.

"We couldn't be more grateful to see people gravitating towards these new songs that represent who we are, and it's been wild to see these crowds sing every line back to us," Lancaster says in behalf of band members Eric Steedly (lead guitar), Jared Hampton (keyboards), Chandler Baldwin (bass guitar), and Tripp Howell (drums).

LANCO recently released the music video for the album track "Hallelujah Nights" on Jan. 19. The video now has 21,256 views as of this writing.
