Some former members of Destiny's Child make gospel records, some release World Cup singles for Pepsi, some are Beyoncé and others get arrested. Today (July 21), it was reported that former girl group member Farrah Franklin was arrested in North Carolina for disorderly conduct.

According to police reports via People, the 33-year-old singer was booked for disorderly conduct charges at 4:55 a.m. on Sunday, July 20. She was released roughly seven hours later after posting $280 bail.

Specific details surrounding Franklin's arrest are limited, though TMZ is reporting that alcohol was involved in the incident. Additionally, this isn't the first time Franklin has been arrested for disorderly conduct. She was previously taken in by police in April 2011, though she claimed she was a victim of racial profiling and was "manhandled" by police.

Despite scarce details, it is known that Franklin was on the beach just hours before her arrest; she posted an Instagram image of herself frolicking on Myrtle Beach hours before she was taken into police custody.

Post-arrest, Franklin returned to her Instagram account to take on the media.

"I'm good just hate the dumn media sometimes, but hey this is the job I signed up for. So I respect it. #TurnDownForWhat #TeamFARRAH #GodsChild #Instagram," she captioned beside a quote about being misunderstood.

Franklin was a short-lived member of Destiny's Child, which saw quite a few lineup changes before settling on members Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams in late 2000. Franklin was a part of the group for five months in late 1999/early 2000 before getting booted from Destiny's Child for missing a few key events.
