Blue Ivy participated in the 2018 Wearable Art Gala organized by her grandmother, Tina Knowles, in Los Angeles on Saturday, March 17.

Naturally, her superstar parents Jay-Z and Beyoncé were in attendance to support the event, which aims to raise money for a non-profit art and performance complex. However, the little one stole the spotlight once again.

Little Art Collector

Blue Ivy, 6, surprised the crowd when she placed a bid of $17,000 for an acrylic painting of Sidney Poitier. She later raised the bid to $19,000, prompting her father, Jay-Z, to attempt to hold her hand down to stop her from making any more expensive purchases. It elicited some chuckle from the crowd.

The auction was captured on video, which already made rounds all over the internet. Unfortunately for Blue Ivy (and fortunately for her parents), Tyler Perry won the painting by pledging $20,000.

However, according to Vanity Fair, the 6-year-old future art collector did not go home empty-handed. She placed a bid $10,000 for a piece made from deconstructed law books from Indiana and medical books from California. The Carters took it home.

Beyoncé also placed a bid and took home a pair of Lorraine Schwartz panther earrings for $17,000. The publication added that the "Hold Up" singer already wore the luxe accessories in a previous event.

Lady In Gold

Her involvement at the auction that evening was not the first time that the young celebrity stole the show. Blue Ivy has been on several red carpets, but her look on Saturday night was a total stunner. The young fashionista arrived at the venue wearing a gold, pouffy gown with thin shoulder straps and accessorized with a gold headdress.

Beyoncé wore a sheer skin-tight and equally sparkly gold gown.

The theme of the event was "Waco to Wakanda" inspired by the critically acclaimed and box-office blockbuster Marvel film Black Panther last month.

Blue Ivy's public appearances never fail to go viral. The young celebrity also became the talk of the town at the 2018 Grammy Awards when she appeared to silence her parents during Camila Cabello's speech about the importance of Dreamers.

Blue Ivy At The 'On The Run II' Tour

The young Carter is expected to go on a tour across North America and Europe with her parents later this year as part of "On The Run II." According to reports, Mr. and Mrs. Carter will bring an army of nannies to make the life on the road comfortable for the 6-year-old and her siblings, Sir and Rumi.
