Cardi B is almost ready to release her debut album. On Instagram, the rapper reveals the cover and the release date of Invasion of Privacy.

The rising star first announced the project when she won the New Artist award at the 2018 iHeartRadio Music Awards. She shared that, after a long wait, the album will finally be out this year.

'Invasion of Privacy' Finally Arrives

On Monday, March 26, the 25-year-old shared more details about her upcoming album. She revealed that the album is titled Invasion of Privacy and said that it will be out next week.

"LADIES AND GENTS ! My album INVASION OF PRIVACY will be out next week April 6!!!!!!!," she wrote on the caption.

On the cover, the soon-to-be-mom looked high fashion in bright yellow hair, white-rimmed cat-eye sunglasses, and a black and white check suit. It has a very '80s vibe with the football-player shoulder pads.

Yello seems to be highlighted on the cover art, which recalls the rapper's hit single "Bodak Yellow" that reached the number 1 spot of Billboard's Hot 100 last year.

On an Instagram story via People, Cardi B also shared behind-the-scenes photos of herself recording in a studio.

Rising Star

Cardi B is perhaps one of the most hardworking rappers in the industry right now. While Invasion of Privacy will be her first studio album, the 25-year-old has already released a couple of chart-toppers in the past year.

Aside from her solo single "Bodak Yellow," Cardi B also topped the charts through her many collaborations including the remix of Bruno Mars song "Finesse," which she performed at the 2018 Annual GRAMMY Awards in January.

She was also involved in "No Limit" by G-Eazy, "MotorSport" with Migos and Nicki Minaj, and "La Modelo" with Ozuna.

Her track "Bartier Cardi" with 21 Savage also entered the top 20 of the Hot 100 earlier this year.

Billboard reported that Cardi B became the first woman to have five Top 10 hits on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart this year, beating Beyoncé who only had four.

Pregnancy Rumors

In addition, 2018 will be a big year for the rapper not just because of her incredible ascent to stardom, but it will also mark a major milestone in her relationship with Migos member Offset. Rumors have it that Cardi B is expecting her first child with her fiancé and will be giving birth in two months.

According to Page Six, the Grammy-nominated rapper will soon be sharing the good news with her fans.
