Has the biggest mystery of 2018 finally been solved? Multiple sources claim that Sanaa Lathan was the actress who bit Beyoncé's face last year.

An American Crime Story

A few days ago, Tiffany Haddish confided in an interview that during an after-party for Jay-Z in December, a woman bit the "Hold Up" singer in the face. She refused to name the individual, and celebrities spotted at the party had to issue a statement to deny that they were not the culprit.

On Tuesday, March 27, Lathan tweeted and assured fans that she did not bite Beyoncé. If she did, she claims that it would have been a love bite.

She was almost off the hook, but Page Six revealed that the Love & Basketball star was the face-biter that the internet has been looking for.

According to the publication, Lathan was talking to Jay-Z at the party after his gig in Los Angeles. When the 36-year-old mother of three interrupted, Lathan playfully bit her chin.

"It was a big thing in the moment at the party, everyone was talking about how anyone would dare to do that," the unnamed source revealed.

This was not the first time that Haddish told the story. Back in January, she also shared the tale in a comedy show. She did not drop any names, but she said that the mystery woman was connected to French Montana.

To recall, Lathan dated the rapper briefly back in 2016.

In addition, TMZ claims that Haddish has confided to multiple people that Lathan was the culprit. One source told the site that the bite was non-invasive, a love bite, but it caught Beyoncé off-guard.

The unnamed insider added that Lathan's interaction with Jay-Z made the Queen Bey uncomfortable, so she went over to confront the movie actress who brushed off the insinuation. She then gave the Lemonade singer a friendly bite.

Neither Haddish nor Beyoncé has confirmed the reports, but Mrs. Carter does not seem too upset about the situation. The Girls Trip star continued that when she heard about the incident, she told Bey that she was willing to beat up the biter.

"Tiffany, no. Don't do that. That bitch is on drugs. She not even drunk," the singer/actress said. "The b**** is on drugs. She not like that all the time. Just chill."

Beyoncé and Jay-Z will be heading on a North American and European tour this summer for "On The Run II." The joint concert series will kick off in Cardiff on June 6.
