Chance The Rapper is making new music and if that is not exciting enough, he reveals he is working with Childish Gambino and Young Thug.

Chance The Rapper's New Music

In an interview with Ebro Darden, and ahead of his upcoming appearance in Dillard University, the 24-year-old announced a new collaborative album, which will see him spot rhymes with some of the hottest hip-hop stars in the world.

Chance The Rapper's most recent album was Coloring Book released back in 2016.

"I never really had a big, drawn-out plan," he explained. I'm more in a collaborative frame of mind. I've been talking with this artist Francis and the Lights — we're working on something."

He added that he and Young Thug has always been making songs together and they finally decided to release some of their collaborative work at some point. The "No Problem" rapper said that he has also been developing new material with Donald Glover's rapper alter ego Childish Gambino.

"I got a lot of people," he stated. "I've just been making songs — that's my shit right now, that's what I'm into."

NME noted that Chance The Rapper has previously collaborated with Francis and the Lights in the song "Summer Friends," a song from Coloring Book.

Collaborative Role

This is not the first time that he talked about an upcoming project. He also revealed last month that he is working on a new music with Glover and Kanye West.

He also worked with West on "All We Got," also from Coloring Book, and "Ultralight Beam," a track from The Life of Pablo.

True enough, Chance The Rapper has been in a collaborative role. He guest stars on Cardi B's "Best Life," a track from her first major label album Invasion of Privacy.

On Instagram, Chance The Rapper congratulated the "Bodak Yellow" rapper for the success of her debut.

He was also recently involved in "Everything (Remix)" by G Herbo and alongside Lil Uzi Vert. According to Complex, the trio just wrapped up filming a music video for the track.
