Mariah Carey stars in a new commercial for Hostelworld, a hostel booking website. The three-minute clip was released on Monday, April 9.
The commercial opens with a hostel staff receiving a notification about the arrival of a guest named M. Carey. She tells her colleague that Carey is coming, but he does not believe her. After the two workers see a limousine pull into the driveway of the hostel, they become convinced that Carey is the one inside the vehicle.
Carey enters the hostel and is welcomed by the staff. She looks extremely disappointed after she realizes that her secretary booked a hostel for her and not a lavish suite. After a few seconds, she asks her team to just deal with it.
The next scene shows the male staff showing Carey's team some of the rooms in the hostel. There are bunk beds in a common bedroom and the suite features a double bed. When Carey walks into the suite, her team looks worried because she might get upset again.
To everyone's surprise, Carey smiles at the sight of the suite. She even performs "Fantasy" in front of the hotel staff. The song is featured in Carey's Daydream album, which was released on Oct. 3, 1995.
Mariah Carey Not Pressured To Release A New Album Soon
Last month, Carey made headlines after she said that she does not give a damn about the Grammys. The award-winning singer is currently working on her forthcoming album, and fans tried to encourage her to release it in time for the awards show. Unfortunately, this did not happen.
"Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn. I mean, I have five Grammys. That's cute. There's people that have been doing this half the time that have twice as many [Grammys]. I won two Grammys the first year I started, but after that, [the Grammys] are like, 'We don't go with the people that are selling a lot of records and are popular; we're gonna go the opposite way.' So I got screwed out of certain years. I wasn't bitter about it," explained Carey.

Carey's upcoming album will serve as her 15th studio project but no other details have been released yet.
