Kanye West has recruited Chicago producer Young Chop to contribute to his upcoming album, which is slated for release later this year. The 20-year-old producer, who previously worked with West on the Yeezus track "Guilt Trip," and is also contributing to Meek Mill's second album Dream Worth More Than Money, recently spoke to XXL about working with West.

"That song we have is a hit. I'm talking about a super hit," Young Chop told XXL (via Radio.com). When discussing how the Yeezus rapper has influenced his own work, Young Chop went on to say, "He was in on every session. Just really coaching n****s on how to make s**t sound great. That's what I learned. When you hear my new s**t, all that s**t I learned from 'Ye."

Radio.com points out that these kind words towards Kanye West are quite unexpected coming from Young Chop, considering the harsh criticisms he leveled against West for his remix of Chief Keef's "Don't Like," which he originally produced. "I'm mad as f**k," he told MTV back in May, "They did not ask me to change up s**t in my beat...They don't have no files to none of my s**t, so how the f**k did they add another melody over the instrumental? These motherf*****s is playin' me and I don't give two f***s, I will sue the s**t out of Kanye West."

Young Chop also had some kind words to say about the recently incarcerated Meek Mill, who he is also working with. "Bro ain't playing. He just goes back to back on s**t. Knocking them out. All freestyle, he don't write anything down."
