Jennifer Lopez drops her new song "El Anillo." The title of the song, which translates to The Ring, maybe Lopez's way of saying she is ready to get married again.

"I have never felt anything this grand/And your wild side drives me crazy/You've given me so much that I've been thinking/I already have it all, but/When will I get the ring," one of the stanzas in her Latin song reads.

Jennifer Lopez Talks About Possible Engagement

Lopez and her boyfriend have been dating for almost two years now, but Rodriguez has not yet proposed to the Shades of Blue star. During a recent interview, the 48-year-old singer said that she is not rushing into anything.

"I've done that before. I'm a little bit more grown up now, and I like to let things take their natural course. I know people are going to say that... we are really kind of good for each other and are really having the best time, and our kids love each other and all that," explained Lopez.

The World of Dance judge also clarified that "El Anillo" is not necessarily about her wanting to wed Rodriguez anytime soon. Lopez said that her songs are about all of the things that women experience in the world today. Other than asking for the ring, Lopez said her second new song asks where the money is.

Lopez had made Rodriguez listen to "El Anillo" before it was released, and the athlete did not immediately realize that the song was about them. After hearing the track, Rodriguez said he could relate to it. Lopez then informed her boyfriend that the song is about them, and it was written for her so she could sing it.

Jennifer Lopez, Alex Rodriguez's Relationship

This is not the first time that Lopez and Rodriguez sparked engagement rumors. Last year, a source claimed that the couple's relationship has gotten more serious, and they have also started talking about marriage. In February, Lopez clarified that she does not want to pressure Rodriguez into anything.

When asked what their relationship is like, Lopez said that she has met a man that is very sweet and supportive. Whenever she stays out late to record her songs, Rodriguez joins her at the studio, and they go home together.

"That's the kind of support, like in this business, it's just a different kind of business, you know, and so, to have someone who understands it and wants to be there and you want to be there for them, it's a very special thing," said Lopez.
