The Holy Chruch of Beyoncé might soon open for business. The 36-year-old singer, songwriter, and dancer recently acquired a church in New Orleans.
The property is reportedly located a few blocks away from where her sister, Solange Knowles, currently resides.

It is unclear what the mom of three has planned for the property, but the church has long been out of commission.
The stone 2-story building offers two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and according to its real estate listing, it has 18-ft. ceiling, level hardwood floors, and some off-street parking.
TMZ reports that Mrs. Carter purchased the property for $850,000. In addition, the church was built around the 1900s and is now over 100 years old.
The acquisition took place around five years since Solange made the move to New Orleans with her family.
In a previous interview with Vogue, the "Don't Touch My Hair" singer opened up about her new life in The Big Easy.
"I really, really love it there," she explained. "It is also one of those things you can't put into words, you can't really put your finger on what is so magical about it."
California's Beyoncé Mass
The news also comes a few weeks after a church in San Francisco held what they called a "Beyoncé Mass." The event, which took place at the Grace Cathedral, was attended by over 900 people to talk about the music and social philosophy of the Grammy-winning artist.
The idea sprung from a class thought by Reverend Yolanda Norton called "Beyoncé and the Hebrew Bible" at the San Francisco Theological Seminary. Norton says that both the class and the mass aim to explore a women-centric reading of the Bible and how biblical text applies to the African-American female identity.
"When we talk about womanist biblical interpretation, Beyoncé felt like a natural fit," Norton told the San Francisco Chronicle. "If we look at the trajectory of her person and her relationships, we can see so many issues black women face and how it can affect how we interpret the text."
During the service, songs by the "Crazy In Love" singer was played at the venue followed by readings from the book of Psalms and Luke."
In a video report by Vice, the audience can be seen singing along and dancing to the music of the world-renowned star. Reverend Jude Harmon said that attendees include people of color and members of the LGBTQ+ community.
"People on who other people's narratives have been projected," he said. "Just to be honest, the church hasn't been the best about lifting up those voices."
