Kanye West and Kid Cudi have hosted a listening party in California to celebrate the release of their new album Kids See Ghosts.

The seven-track album is a collaboration between the two major rappers. It was first teased earlier this year by West on Twitter who also confirmed Pusha T's Daytona and a few other upcoming records.

'Kids See Ghost' Listening Party

The listening party held in Los Angeles on Thursday, June 7, was scheduled to begin at 11 p.m. Eastern Time. For the live streaming, West tapped WAV, the same app that also beamed ye from Wyoming to thousands of fans across the globe.

However, according to Pitchfork, the event was pushed back a couple of hours due to technical difficulties until 1:15 a.m. when the app was ready.

Fans, including West and Cudi, sat around a bonfire listening to the album. It was played twice in full. Other notable attendees include Kim Kardashian, Ariana Grande, Courtney Love, Zane Lowe, and more.

The listening party was held at a venue in Santa Clarita that was transformed into a ghost town from the Wild West. There was even a saloon to make the guests feel like they were transported back in time.

As part of #ProjectWyoming, West also scheduled listening parties in Miami on June 6, Wednesday, and in Brooklyn, on Thursday, June 7.

Kanye West, Kid Cudi Release 'Kids See Ghost'

The listening party had taken place a few hours before West and Cudi dropped their first collaborative record, Kids See Ghost. The album is only third to the stream of new records that West's G.O.O.D. music has been dropping since last month, starting with Pusha T's Daytona. Last week, the 41-year-old dropped his own album ye, the follow-up to 2016's The Life of Pablo.

Albums recorded by Nas and Teyana Taylor are also coming.

Kids See Ghosts features seven tracks including collaborations with Pusha T and Yasiin Bey. It will be available on all music streaming services by this weekend, but fans can still stream the album for free by downloading the WAV app.
