Do it for the 'Gram.

Australian police are reportedly investigating a photo of officers handcuffing Lily Allen at Gold Coast Airport in Queensland.

According to Billboard, Lily Allen was involved in a photo prank gone wrong.

Allen, who had been touring Down Under, was being escorted through the airport when she asked officers to slap on a pair of cuffs while she posed on her knees for a photo.

The New Zealand Herald reports the singer was confronted by police upon her arrival at Sunday's Splendour in the Grass festival.

"At her request members involved placed open handcuffs for a photo opportunity," an Australian Federal Police spokesman told the Herald. "It appears the members involved were caught in the moment and standard protocol were breached. It is subject to internal processes."

The magazine's site reports the photo has since been deleted from Allen's Instagram account. Prior to being removed, the image had reportedly been liked more than 7,700 times.

Allen has 10 gigs scheduled for her two weeks in Australia.

The vocalist's last visit to Australia was in 2009 when she toured with the Big Day Out festival.

Gold Coast City Councillor Dawn Crichlow said the stunt wasn't a good look.

"I don't appreciate a photo of ... police playing around with their handcuffs," she told Fairfax radio. "It's bad that the federal police allowed this to happen and they should be hauled over the coals. Just a bit of fun would have been to give her the police cap and have a photo taken like that, that would have been fun."

What do you think of Lily Allen's photo prank with the police? And the Councillor's reaction?
