Justin Timberlake has released "SoulMate," a sexy, samba-inspired new track that heralds the arrival of summer. The audio dropped on Tuesday, July 3.

"Summer starts now," the singer-songwriter announces in his new track.

Justin Timberlake Drops Summer Anthem

Billboard reports that "SoulMate" was produced by Nineteen85 who often collaborates with Drake. He worked on the massively popular "Hotline Bling."

Lechas Young, James Fauntleroy, Brian and Brandon Casey of Jagged Edge, and Gary Smith were also credited.

The 37-year-old dropped the track without warning on Tuesday night. On Twitter, he posted the vintage-inspired cover art of "SoulMate," which features a woman looking toward the horizon in a populated beach.

The track makes a bid into becoming the 2018 summer anthem of steamy one-night stands and flings.

"Whatever you believe in could be real/ 'Cause I believe in miracles/ So please right now, you and me right now/ We could live our dreams right now/ First lay down," Timberlake sings. "Ima be your soulmate, for one night/ Let me put my soul on you, it's only right/ Let me pull you up out your body, into mine."

Last week, the former member of the NSYNC posted a photo with Nineteen and Fauntleroy inside the studios in the Bahamas.

Justin Timberlake, Drake Collaboration

It is yet unclear what the Grammy-winning singer has in store for the future. "SoulMate" is not included in his recently released fifth studio album Man of the Woods.

However, in an interview, Timberlake suggested that he will be collaborating with Canadian rapper Drake. During a conversation with Complex, the father of one praised Scorpion and revealed that he has been discussing the possibility of working together with Drizzy.

"There's like two or three tracks on every G.O.O.D. Music release that I really, really am feeling. I love Scorpion," he stated. "We've talked about [collaborating again] a lot. I don't wanna say too much because I don't wanna jinx it, but we've talked about it a lot."

No further details have been disclosed as of yet, but Drake and Timberlake previously collaborated in the song "Cabaret."

Timberlake is currently in the middle of his Man of the Woods tour. He will next perform at the AccorHotels Arena in Paris, France, on July 4, Wednesday, and then at the SSE Hydro in Glasgow, Scotland on Saturday, July 7.
